The Power of Niagara Falls

The Power of Niagara Falls

We go down to get an close look at Niagara Falls and when we do, a cloud of mist covers them. It is so thick you can barely see ten feet in front of you. You know it is there but you just can’t see it.

This happens to me often. I know what I want, or where I want to go but sometimes I can’t see it. I know it is there. I know it is possible because other people have told me it is there but I just can’t see it.

We leave the Falls and check into our hotel room. We are on the 16th floor and as we walk in, we watch 150,000 gallons of water per second pour out of Niagara Falls. It is clear as day!

The mist is still down below but up here you can see the powerful world wonder. It is spectacular and mesmerizing. I can look at it all day!

This experience is a good reminder for me to start the week.

Some of us might be standing in the same spot hoping to see something we know is there but we have mist standing in our way. We know it is there, but we just can’t see it.

It is time to move, change location or do something differently or you will be looking at mist your whole life. You deserve to see wonderful things but you are in charge of what you see!

If we go and make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen, if we change our location or surroundings that are currently not getting us what we want, think of the possibilities?

I hope you have a great start to your week and you get all the mist out of your way! As always…

  • I was only there when I was young. My big wonderment was where all that water came from and where is was going. I was sure it would run out of water. I think I still wonder.

Awesome analogy Ryan. If you can envision it in your mind, then it can and will happen, as long as you are willing to make the necessary adjustments. This is a top 5 destination for me for 2014. Thanks for the reinforcing inspiration Ryan.
